The aim of the site is to develop walks related to Redditch’s history and existing historical artefacts and buildings. We have a range of walks in the Redditch area which we are steadily extending.
Our project to investigate, document and publish details of the historic sites which remain in Redditch today.
Our new history forum which allows discussion and questions about the history of our town and related subjects.
The Redditch Local History Society is based at the Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre and our aims are to document and communicate on the remaining visible history of Redditch by means of exhibitions, talks, maps, walks and audio/visual records.
Our first meeting for 2012 will be on Monday 6th February 2012 at 2.00pm at the Forge Mill Needle Museum.
